the lodge

Erfalik Lodge is the most remote lodge in Greenland. It is literately in the wilderness surrounded by endless tundra, fresh air, clear water rivers, glaciers, and spectacular mountains.

Panoramic view

If the kitchen is the gathering point of the lodge the large panoramic living area with a wood stove is the heart. Here you can enjoy the view and watch the mood of the weather.

Here we can spend the evenings sharing stories and photos, relaxing or reading a book about the great explores. No WI-FI means 100% online detox and presence even when you are napping in front of the stove.

Dining area

In the center of the main room is the dining area, where we serve meals Breakfast is served as buffet with a variety of cereals, baked pastries, hot eggs, bacon, sausages, pan cakes, coffee and juices.

Lunch is either a pack lunch on your day tour or a selection of house-made hot soups and sandwiches, topped off with tasty dessert.

Round off your day of exploring with a 3-course dinner served as buffet. Our menus are prepared in-house daily and inspired by local ingredients.

Please note that we are in the high north where no vegetables grow but must be flown in from Europe or Iceland. That leaves us with a very limited selection of fruit and salads. On the other hand, we have lots of delicious seafood. Remember to notify us on any allergies and preferences.
